Health Technical Memorandum Escape Route Signing

Health Technical Memorandum 65 (HTM 65) published as part of HTM 54.1 specifies a new range of fire safety signs for NHS Estates. This range of fire safety signs follows the revision of BS 5499 in 1990 specifically to meet the requirements for graphical symbol representation to ensure international recognition of evacuation routes and fire fighting equipment location and identification.

JALITE PLC has launched a complete range of fire safety signs using the design recommendations of Health Technical Memorandum 65 Part 2 which meets the demands of both EC Directive 92/58/EEC and the UK regulations. This range includes exit and fire exit signing, including symbols that are particular to the NHS, mandatory instruction notices and fire equipment location and identification signs.
